Our 1939 vintage date nail cufflinks are made with genuine railroad date nails. Railroad date nails were used by railroad companies to mark the year that the track was installed. Date nails were most used in the 1930s and almost completely disappeared by the 1970s.
- The nail heads are about 5/8" in diameter. (1.5cm)
We work with real antiques, please remember that the vintage pieces used in your order will vary slightly from catalog/online photos.
